MWC is a state‑of‑the‑art cheese and whey production facility in St. Johns, MI. MWC is a joint venture between Glanbia Nutritionals, Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) and Select Milk Producers Inc. (Select).
Internal Position Pre‑Qualification Requirements- Have fewer than 3 attendance points.
- Not be currently on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
- Have no Last Chance or Final Corrective Actions related to Safety or Performance within the past 12 months.

Primarily responsible to box the extra cheese from the Separator room.
Essential Functions- Responsible for operating fines and salt whey equipment.
- Responsible for locating leaking vessels and isolating them, replacing membranes and lip seals.
- Record data for fines and salt whey Nano membrane.
- Prepare blocks in the fines room according to the procedure.
- Put blocks in the press and the vacuum chamber.
- Bag and seal blocks.
- Assemble stainless steel boxes.
- Oversee CIP for assigned machinery and silos.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Attend required training and take required quizzes to be proficient in the room.
- Responsible for completing all safety activities, plant meetings, near misses, and BBSs.
- Complete all job activities following set safety and operational SOPs.
- Leave the relieving operator supplied with materials, cardboard boxes, and stainless steel boxes.
- Utilize GPS processes, driving zero losses, and uphold the culture of MWC non‑negotiables.
- Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
- Comply with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Administration, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance).
- Showing Respect – Research issues & incidents with internal teams, business partners and customers in a collaborative manner that includes professional, honest and transparent communication.
- Find a Better Way – Work with internal and external teams to implement process improvements and/or procedural changes that eliminate nonvalue added activities and drive more business value.
