We currently have openings for Machine Operator II in our Troy, Ohio location. The starting pay for a Machine Operator is $20.80 plus $1.00 shift differential.

Shift

Schedule:

3rd shift – Sunday through Thursday – 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• Operate and calibrate machinery and equipment (e.g., booking press, drum unit, window RUVO, hand tools) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure quality standards by completing KQIs for both units and the wet system.
• Set up slabs as appropriate.
• Ensure inventory is adequate. Inform group leader or supervisory of shortages.
• Keep area and equipment clean, maintained, and organized in a safe manner.
• Adhere to all safety training, policies, and procedures.
• Work safely and report unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• High School diploma or equivalent; ability to lift 30–50 lbs and work at a quick pace.
• 1–2 years of production experience or experience running machinery.
• Ability to read and write a limited number of words and recognize similarities among words and series of numbers.
• Ability to count and perform simple math operations (weight, temperature, quantity).
• Must be able to perform lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to meet production and quality standards.
• Ability to work harmoniously and effectively as part of a team.
