CNC Lathe Operator

Entech Staffing Solutions seeks a CNC Lathe Operator for a client in the professional, scientific & technical services industry. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision components, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, select tooling, and adjust offsets to maintain tight tolerances. You'll inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges, document production data, and follow quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Adjust machine settings and offsets to maintain tight tolerances
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic issues
• Follow quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
• Document production data and communicate issues to supervisors
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to meet production goals
