Description

Who We Are

Spring Hill is a youth outreach and discipleship ministry that uses immersive experiences to impact lives and prepare the next generation of Christ-centered leaders. We build camp programs and retreats that give youth and adults the time and space to reconnect with God through fun, worship, and quiet reflection. Our team is community focused and committed to cheering each other on in our work and personal faith.

The Role

In this hybrid remote role, you will advance Spring Hill’s mission by cultivating deep, trusted relationships with partners who share a passion for helping the next generation encounter Jesus—including individuals, families, churches, foundations, alumni, camper parents, and friends of the ministry. Through these relationships, you will invite others to partner with Spring Hill through financial generosity, volunteer service, and church or group partnerships.

Your primary focus will be cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts of $15,000+ while nurturing mid-level donors of $5,000–$15,000, engaging new partners, and helping people connect their generosity to meaningful ministry impact. You will manage a focused portfolio of donors and prospects, ensuring each relationship is intentionally developed, prayerfully stewarded, and aligned with Spring Hill’s long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 80–120 donor households with the capacity to make significant gifts.
  • Proactively identify, cultivate, and solicit new major donor prospects.
  • Personally secure major gifts of $15,000+ and mid-level gifts of $5,000–$15,000.
  • Partner with multiple teams to execute Spring Hill’s annual fundraising goal (portfolio target of $400K+).
  • Participate in Spring Hill’s fundraising events, leveraging them for donor engagement and cultivation.
  • Grow estate commitments that secure the ministry’s long-term impact.
Engagement & Representation
  • Develop and pursue speaking opportunities with churches and other organizations to share Spring Hill’s mission, deepen relationships with current partners, and engage prospective partners in meaningful ways.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Spring Hill, clearly communicating its mission and vision at donor meetings, special events or retreats, camp activities, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Conduct in-person visits, phone calls, electronic, and written communications that deepen donor relationships and encourage generosity, with a goal of meeting in person with each household in your portfolio every year.
  • Attend opening and closing ceremonies during summer and maintain a presence at camp during other months; generally, 1 visit to camp per week.
  • Work closely with the Development Team to align strategies and share insights.
  • Collaborate with Spring Hill staff to capture stories and ministry outcomes that inspire donor investment.
  • Support broader fundraising initiatives, including campaigns, events, and appeals, as assigned.
Other Duties
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to further the organization’s mission.
Requirements

What We Are Looking For
  • A deep commitment to Spring Hill’s mission and ministry philosophy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in fundraising, sales, or donor relations, with demonstrated success in securing major gifts or closing high-value sales.
  • Highly relational, with a demonstrated ability and passion for building authentic, long-term relationships with a wide variety of partners, including individuals, churches, foundations, alumni, parents, and friends of the ministry.
  • Believes in biblical generosity and models wise financial stewardship, helping donors see giving as an opportunity to…
