The clinical nurse, under the ANA scope of practice, uses the framework of the nursing process to provide professional, patient‑family centered nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Leader in accordance with Beaumont policies and procedures.

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent, or Graduate of an accredited nursing school with an associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Required Bachelor’s Degree B.S.N., M.S.N., or DNP/PhD. If not minimum BSN prepared, a new graduate or nurse with less than one (1) year experience must enroll in an accredited BSN program within one year of licensure and complete it within five (5) years.
• Two (2) years of relevant acute‑care nursing experience.
• Required internal candidates with less than two (2) years of clinical experience must be approved by their current nurse leader and the site Chief Nursing Officer.
• Licensure:
  Registered Nurse (RN) – State of Michigan.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA, ARC, or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation (upon hire).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – AHA (upon hire).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) – Emergency Nurses Association (180 days).
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) – Emergency Nurses Association (1 year).
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – AHA (180 days).
• Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA (1 year, or 180 days for Pre‑Op/PACU).
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification (C‑EFM) – NCC (1 year).

• Type:
  Part time.
• Shift: Night (7p–730a). Weekly scheduled hours: 0.03.

  Sunday–Saturday, variable weekend frequency.
