Registered Nurse (RN) – Unit

Full‑Time 0.9 FTE – 12‑hour overnight shifts.

Sign‑on bonus: $7,500 (based on eligibility).

UP Health System – Marquette is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. The role requires a Registered Nurse to staff med/surg, neuro/ortho/peds, rehab, and cardiac units. After one year in the staffing pool, nurses may advance to specialty units such as ICU and ED.

• Perform plan‑of‑care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care.
• Document patient care provided.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient.

• State of Michigan RN license.
• Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS‑HCP).
