- STABLE Certification (current or obtainable within one year)
- Lead and oversee the Obstetrics/Labor & Delivery department.
- Coordinate patient care using the nursing process.
- Ensure safe, high-quality maternal and newborn care.
- Lead quality improvement and performance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Manage staff scheduling, education, coaching and performance evaluations.
- Support patient flow, departmental operations and staff development.
- Provide education for Labor & Delivery patients and staff.
