Under the direction of the Asset Protection Manager or Assistant General Manager Operations, the Asset Protection Associate monitors shortage results, shortage control, investigations, and apprehensions regarding internal and external theft, and implements store safety and awareness programs at an individual Saks Fifth Avenue location.
What You Will Do- Train store associates on awareness and Asset Protection procedures; maintain inventory integrity by overseeing reports and audits daily and monthly.
- Organize and conduct annual store inventory.
- Develop shortage strategies for merchandise groups, maintain paperwork controls, and promote shortage awareness.
- Manage ad hoc responsibilities as directed.
- Minimum 2 years of Asset Protection experience in a large‑volume retail environment.
- Relevant certification required where applicable by jurisdiction.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Wicklander‑Zulawski Certification required.

The starting hourly rate for this position is between $20.19–22.84 per hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include market, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
