Store Warehouse Associate

Overview

Gorman’s premier home furnishings retailer has an immediate opening for a Store Warehouse Associate position. This position is responsible for assisting with various duties at the Troy main store.

• Light property maintenance including daily recovery of sidewalks, parking lot, and interior warehouse.
• Daily trash collection within the building.
• Receiving and shipping UPS, and Federal Express packages.
• Pulling and prepping inner store merchandise transfers; receipt and ticketing of incoming merchandise.
• Assisting with customer pickups.
• Assisting store management with furniture assembly and movement of same in store and with hanging artwork.
• Replacement of interior store lighting.
• Assisting store designers with moving furniture in the store for customers.
• Other merchandise support services on an as‑needed basis.

• Applicants will be required to undergo and pass a background screening, a pre‑employment physical, and a drug screen.
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
• Education:
  
  High school or equivalent (Required)

Sunday 12 pm–5 pm

Monday 10 am–6 pm

Tuesday 10 am–6 pm

Wednesday the store is closed

Thursday 10 am–6 pm

Friday 10 am–6 pm

Saturday 10 am–6 pm
