The Retail Salesperson sells shoes in-store and via digital channels, using texting and social media to drive sales and build customer relationships. • Set and achieve individual sales goals for both in-store and digital selling using selling tools and social media
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers and grow a customer following
• Provide styling and fit guidance and deliver excellent customer service on customers' terms
• Open new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts to deepen customer relationships
• Support department readiness by filling orders, stocking, re-merchandising, performing price markdowns, and light cleaning
• Occasionally perform duties in other departments as business needs require
• Meet physical demands of the role including frequent movement and handling merchandise

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to use networking and technology to drive sales
• Ability to work effectively in a team and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and follow-through
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs
• Physical ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours and lift items up to 25 pounds
