Store Associate

Position Summary:

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family, delivering customer‑focused service and supporting store operations.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and demonstrating compassion.
• Offer a warm greeting, maintain eye contact, and help locate items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking vendor deliveries, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks as directed.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support across all departments (photo, beauty, etc.) and keep them fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when required, including working regular pharmacy shifts for growth opportunities.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Physical requirements:
  
  upright on feet during sustained periods, lift up to 35 lbs occasionally and 10 lbs frequently.
• Visual acuity for viewing a computer terminal, reading, and inspection of small parts.
• Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

• Remaining upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time.
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and a negligible amount regularly.
• Visual acuity: close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection involving small parts/details.

Part time

The typical pay range for this role is $15.00 – $19.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
