Role Objective
The Sales Associate works to achieve store sales goals by delivering the ALO experience and Brand Mission standard. They create an authentic, organic experience of excellence for every guest through genuine connection, product education, and by sharing community and culture with customers.
Responsibilities- Impact the business and store environment positively and align with store leadership and company goals.
- Drive and exceed sales goals by leading ALO's Flow initiatives while optimizing productivity and efficiency.
- Engage customers and provide a friendly, easy shopping environment.
- Build daily client relationships with customers.
- Analyze reports in partnership with leadership to strategize and deliver results, focusing on growth opportunities.
- Ensure effective sales‑floor coverage through workforce solutions and lead selling initiatives as needed.
- Educate on ALO business model (Retail, Yoga, Café) through personal testimony and in‑depth product knowledge.
- Leverage company tools, incentives, and strategies to support store goals.
- Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Educate guests and staff on products, community, and culture.
- Maintain the daily schedule that prioritizes the best business strategy in partnership with Store Leadership.
- Assist in processing shipments and ensure product flow, including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment excellence.
- Execute all front‑ and back‑of‑house procedures per company policy and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks to keep the store clean, safe, and operating efficiently when not actively assisting guests.
- Assume a physical role requiring constant movement, lifting, bending, kneeling, and stair or ladder use (up to 50 pounds).
- 1+ years of client‑centric sales experience preferred.
- Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
- Alignment with and embodiment of ALO's Guiding Principles.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑driven and thrives both individually and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift, push, carry, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, twist, and stop safely.
- Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
Part‑Time non‑exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a shift minimum of 4 hours. Full‑Time non‑exempt associates are expected to have open availability for 32‑40 hours per week, 7 days a week. All employees are required to work during the company’s blackout period from the week of American Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
