Cash Counter Associate

Nino Salvaggio is currently looking for a Cash Counter Associate for our Troy location.

• Ensure that all cash register tills are counted accurately at the beginning and closing of shifts.
• Perform all cash management procedures including balancing, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
• Research any and all discrepancies to determine the cause and to recommend a resolution.
• Inform management of any and all cash count issues.
• Process customer sales and other transactions using the cash register.
• Receive and process customer payment by cash, check, credit card, debit, gift certificates or EFT and tender change when necessary.
• Greet all customers and provide them prompt and courteous service and/or assistance.
• Maintain a neat, well‑groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company grooming and dress standards.
• Bag and package customer merchandise.
• Follow all established company Alcohol Sales guidelines, and all Federal, Local, County and State Alcohol Sales laws and ordinances.
• Assist in other areas of the Customer Service department and/or other departments as directed by management.
• Attend company training class on Responsible Alcohol Sales.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Previous customer service experience, required.
• Previous cash handling experience, required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to properly use a 10‑key adding machine.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 or more hour periods.
• Must be able to regularly bend, lift and/or move 25 pounds.
• Ability to multitask, maintain a positive attitude, problem solve.
