Salary Range $25.64 - $32.05*

• Model all Saks Fifth Avenue Customer Service Principles.

• Follow all alteration workroom policies and Tailor procedures.
• Utilize expertise to make alteration decisions during customer fittings.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience in all interactions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Support company/store and department initiatives.
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed.
• Demonstrate the ability to engage audiences with clear, compelling perspectives.
• Show a proven track record of delivering results within a large, complex organization.
• Generate multiple approaches to problem solving, including new and novel ideas.

• Minimum 3 years of fitting and tailoring experience in high-end merchandise.
• Ability to fit and perform alterations on a wide range of garments.
• Strong technical background in specialty skills (e.g., leather, knits, double face, beading, fine tailoring, buttonholes) is a plus.
• Ability to use all standard sewing, pressing, and spotting equipment.
• Ability to use specialty machines: double-blind, buttonhole, cover-stitch, leather.
• Knowledge of the alterations industry, including fabrication and styling of luxury merchandise.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
