Operations and Stock Assistant, Somerset Collection Mall

Max Mara is seeking a Stock Associate to join our Troy team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of an internationally recognized luxury fashion house known for its timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, and commitment to excellence.

The Stock Associate plays an essential role in supporting the store’s daily operations and ensuring an elevated client experience. Working closely with the Store Management and Sales teams, this individual will maintain an organized, efficient, and well-managed stockroom while supporting the overall performance of the boutique.

• Receive, unpack, process, and organize incoming merchandise in accordance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure merchandise is properly stored and readily accessible.
• Support replenishment of the sales floor and assist with transfers, shipments, and product movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom environment.
• Partner closely with Sales Associates and Store Management to support daily business needs.
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventories.
• Prepare merchandise for client appointments, special events, transfers, and shipments.
• Ensure all merchandise is handled with the highest level of care and attention to detail.
• Support loss-prevention initiatives and follow all company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and service-oriented store environment.
• Provide additional operational support as needed during peak business periods and seasonal activities.

• Previous experience in retail, luxury retail, inventory, stock, or store operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Dependable, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise as required.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and during peak retail periods as needed.
