Premier Food Supplies (PFS) is a leading distributor of Indian and South Asian foods, proudly servicing the Midwest since 2003.
We are expanding our U.S. sales team and are seeking an experienced, relationship-driven Field Sales Representative who will be based and working in the United States. This role is posted in Canada for qualified candidates who are eligible to work in the U.S. with a TN Visa.
Role OverviewField Sales Representatives act as the face of Premier Food Supplies (PFS) in assigned U.S. territories — managing customer relationships, opening new accounts, and driving revenue growth with grocery stores, restaurants, and more.
This is a U.S.
-based, field-driven role that requires regular in-person customer visits and extensive regional travel.
- Sales & Account Growth
- Collect and grow weekly sales orders from assigned U.S.
-based accounts - Visit clients regularly to assess needs, manage inventory, and upsell/cross-sell
- Introduce new products, promotions, and samples
- Collect and grow weekly sales orders from assigned U.S.
- Customer Success & Collections
- Support timely collections and assist with payment resolution
- Partner with customers to improve planograms, shelf presence, and merchandising
- Resolve customer issues promptly and document outcomes
- Market Expansion
- Open new accounts and grow existing business across assigned territories
- Generate new leads through outreach, referrals, and cold calling
- Share competitive insights and market feedback with leadership
- Data & Strategy
- Analyze sales data to improve wallet share and territory performance
- Participate in trade shows, food demos, and local marketing events
- Assist customers in adopting ordering technology and online platforms
Minimum Qualifications (TN Visa Aligned)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Management, or a closely related field (required for TN eligibility)
- 5+ years field sales experience in F&B, hospitality, wholesale distribution, or FMCG/CPG
- Strong account management and new business development skills
- Bilingual:
English + Hindi required (Punjabi, Gujarati, Telugu, or Tamil a plus) - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs as needed
- Prior wholesale distribution or food & beverage experience

This position requires authorization to work in the United States.

Salary Range: USD $50,000 – $80,000 (based on experience in ethnic food distribution sales)
