B2B Sales Account Manager, Educational Tours
SUMMARYThe B2B Sales Account Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth and cultivating lasting client relationships for Corporate Travel’s Educational Tours Division. This position requires a dynamic, results-oriented professional with a strong background in sales, client engagement, and strategic communication. As a public-facing representative of the organization, the B2B Sales Account Manager must demonstrate exceptional presentation skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities with qualified group leaders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the sales and tour planning process
- Collaborate with the group operations team to design and sell customized, educational itineraries for group tours
- Present compelling sales pitches and promotional materials to prospective clients
- Lead client-facing meetings, including sales presentations, intake sessions, and pre-departure briefings
- Maintain expert-level knowledge of Corporate Travel’s Educational Tours products, destinations, and services
- Collaborate with the Design team to develop materials that support sales efforts
- Ensure timely delivery of proposals, contracts, and client documents
- Continuously expand product knowledge, including historical sites, entertainment, cultural attractions, lodging, and dining in key destinations
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events to generate leads and build brand awareness
- Bachelor’s degree in business AND proven experience (at least 5 years) in B2B sales
- Business development, or client relationship management
- Familiarity with domestic destinations
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage large groups
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- CRM system experience preferred
- Canva experience preferred
- Willingness to travel for sales meetings, training, and event production
- Professional demeanor, punctuality, and a client-first mindset
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Willingness to support endeavors outside of business hours when necessary
