Overview
SailPoint is a leading identity security provider. We’re expanding in Michigan and need a Strategic Account Executive to sell our Identity Security solution to payers and providers.
Responsibilities- Exceed revenue quota goals on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Address each customer’s and partner’s inquiries with tailored solutions.
- Develop business plans aligned with assigned territory.
- Strategically engage with customers to maintain high service levels.
- Collaborate with marketing on plans with partners and end users.
- Pursue all supplied leads and maintain accurate system updates.
- Lead technical resources to demonstrate SailPoint’s advantages.
- Follow up with customers and partner with post‑sale team for continued coverage.
- Own the entire sales cycle, including qualifying, presentations, demonstrations, RFP responses, negotiations, and closing.
- Maintain deep understanding of territory, customers, prospects, partners, and competitors.
- Communicate product and technology strategies’ competitive landscape.
- Initiate and manage discussions across all levels of a customer’s organization.
- Utilize channel management and reporting tools for forecasting and Salesforce hygiene.
- Skillful communicator skilled in discovery calls and needs analysis.
- Deep knowledge of SailPoint solutions and comparison with Microsoft, Okta, and Saviynt.
- Experience in competitively positioning solutions and value proposition.
- Ability to lead and coordinate a virtual cross‑functional team.
- Strong decision making regarding engagement timing and accountability.
- Experience creating territory and opportunity plans from discovery forward.
- Collaboration with leadership to refine sales strategy.
- Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or sales related field.
Base salary range USD $109,200 – $184,080. Eligible for SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan, commission, and equity participation. Comprehensive benefits include health/dental/vision, disability, life, 401(k), flexible vacation, holidays, sick leave, parental leave, and an employee assistance program.
