Regional Sales Manager Responsibilities
  • Organize, prioritize, and collaborate (create) to support sales efforts.
  • Develop working relationships within supply‑chain systems to ensure Eden products are available and well merchandised.
  • Maintain a straightforward, forthright, professional demeanor and reliable communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Set and maintain goals focused on strategy, plans, and tactics to nurture relationships, share food knowledge, record data, and achieve merchandising objectives.
  • Gather facts for the proper qualification of prospects and customers.
  • Manage, train, and direct Eden food brokers; educate them about Eden Foods’ products and services.
  • Develop and maintain oversight of brokers and the value they deliver to Eden, customers, and prospects.
  • Stay current on food market trends, the food industry, and key personnel.
  • Proactively maintain and update Eden‑stored data and records.
  • Provide sales and accounting projections within +/-10% of actual results and update them as needed.
  • Allocate promotional budgets in collaboration with headquarters staff and brokers.
  • Submit accurate incentive‑agreement data to headquarters for approval.
  • Use Eden Foods’ business systems, including Salesforce (CRM), Microsoft Office, macOS, Google Mail and Calendar, Paylocity, Acct vantage ERP, File Maker Pro, and secure practices.
  • Continuously improve relationship communications with distributors, retailers, co‑ops, e‑commerce businesses, food businesses, Eden brokers, and company personnel.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Marketing and work with other departments as required.
  • Ensure all communications are written, dated, and signed; writing creates, nourishes, and requires relationships.
  • Distribute company messages to accurately convey Eden Foods’ work, services, food uses, benefits, and opportunities for win‑win business.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and customers regarding receivables and credit management.
  • Manage business consistently with Eden Foods’ terms of sale and incentive agreements; document non‑compliance professionally.
  • Help oversee and protect Eden Foods’ trademarks and intellectual property.
  • Maintain business practices that support Eden Foods’ corporate policies and ethical standards.
