Sales & Business Development Intern | Sharp Stakes The  Tone

This is a part‑time internship at Sharp Stakes, a company changing the game in iGaming. Sharp Stakes provides a cutting‑edge research tool specifically designed to make sports betting easier, more fun, and entirely transparent. The platform empowers users to find valuable insights, discover optimal bets, and make smarter decisions in their sports wagering. This role is pivotal for expanding the Sharp Stakes brand presence, growing its user base across NJ, PA, and MI, and collecting essential feedback to continually enhance the user experience, all within an exciting startup environment at the intersection of sports, data, and business development.

What You’ll Actually Do
  • Brand Promotion & Events:
    Drive the promotion of Sharp Stakes across various channels, utilizing both social media and direct in‑person marketing strategies, alongside planning and executing engaging experiences to significantly boost brand awareness.
  • Event Representation:
    Act as a key representative for Sharp Stakes, assisting at company‑sponsored sports and various social events to foster community engagement and visibility.
  • Partnership Development:
    Proactively identify and establish connections with key potential partners, including local sports bars, relevant student organizations, and influential figures in the sports community.
  • Lead Generation:
    Develop and implement comprehensive lead pipelines, employing both effective in‑person and strategic online methodologies to attract and convert prospective users.
  • User Feedback:
    Systematically gather valuable user insights and provide direct, actionable feedback to the leadership team to continuously improve and refine the Sharp Stakes platform experience.
The Must‑Haves
  • Background:
    An enthusiastic student eager to gain real‑world, hands‑on marketing and sales experience specifically within the growing sports and iGaming industry.
  • Experience:

    A demonstrated ability to comfortably meet new people, build meaningful connections, and confidently engage, influence, and promote concepts or products to diverse audiences.
  • Skills:

    An inherently outgoing and social personality; strong and confident communication skills; a proactive, self‑starting entrepreneurial mindset that drives initiative and gets tasks accomplished; and a genuine, deep interest in sports, staying current on all relevant games, teams, and industry trends.
