What You Will Do
  • Integrates all company objectives and strategies to drive executional results. Supervises Division Sales Managers and Regional Account Managers and role model persuasive selling skills and optimal coverage designs that enable success for sales individuals. Leverages industry knowledge and relationships to drive revenue of company products and services with a focus on current and new account opportunities. Works closely with internal and external sales channels to provide daily oversight and assure proper planning, resources, and alliances for successful promotion of company products.
  • Evaluates and develops individual team members to improve their skills, capabilities, and performance.
  • Collaborates with team to create a positive, energetic environment in the region; supervises work of Division Sales Managers & Regional Account Managers.
  • Coaches and motivates the team to deliver executional excellence.
  • Role models persuasive selling skills and optimal coverage designs that enable success for Sales Reps.
  • Makes personnel decisions and recommendations, with input from HR partners, for DSMs & RAMs.
  • Engages with leadership to share key customer requirements, identify opportunities for leverage within accounts.
  • Supports RAMs with implementing Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes with identified top region customers.
  • Partners with top customers in the region to drive alignment between Company & customer objectives.
  • Works with DSMs to optimize retail store coverage designs to maximize retail activity time in achieving strategic objectives.
  • Directs team resources to maximize time allocation on a store‑by‑store basis to meet objectives.
  • Identifies opportunities within the region and provides input on potential areas for improved results.
  • Analyzes the region for opportunities to share insights, suggestions, ideas, and solutions that are shareable to maximize selling and executional impact.
  • Measures requirements of retail partnership agreements to ensure they are maintained by retail stores.
  • Maximizes effectiveness of all Merchandising Fixtures/Displays/POS to present a competitive merchandising advantage at retail.
  • Drives adoption of formal Customer Joint Business Plans (JBPs) at top accounts across the region.
  • Coaches and develops DSMs, RAMs to improve selling skills, customer partnership, and people‑management capabilities.
  • Supports the team in development of customized selling plans that resonate with retailers and encompass conceptual selling in the store.
  • Collaborates with division resources to identify sales opportunities that can be acted on to drive sales performance.
  • Implements an area go‑to‑market approach for the respective region and provides ongoing input on area‑wide improvements.
  • Customizes sales strategies, plans, and key initiatives across region to account & sales rep level.
  • Delivers assigned Sales KPI’s and key initiative objectives across region customers & retail stores.
  • Analyzes regional landscape, customers, and develops win‑win solutions for both the team & customers.
  • Accepts responsibility for region results across deliverables such as coverage, merchandising, distribution, promotional programs, volume objectives, and talent management.
  • Helps the team gain and maintain acceptance by customers to use “ITG Portal” as the primary method for reimbursement/tracking.
