We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Business Development Team and play a key role in executing the US HPPA growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Support the implementation of the North American HPPA strategy by developing markets, acquiring new projects, and driving commercialization.
- Evaluate competitor products in all technical and commercial aspects and develop a differentiation strategy.
- Develop technical and commercial contact with key customers in the assigned markets, including prospective North American customers.
- Collaborate with the Business Line and Business Excellence team to identify regional market intelligence (customers, trends, value chains, pricing, application, etc.).
- Support the development of new business through the generation of technical value proposals, applications, and design knowledge.
- Translate customer and application requirements into product specifications; recommend existing products or draft product development specifications in collaboration with global Product Development Specialists and local/Global Technical Product Managers.
- Experience selling High Heat Polymers is required.
- New business development experience with a proven track record of achieving ambitious targets leading to market growth.
- 8-10 years of commercial and technical experience with high heat polymers.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
- Willing to travel at least 50% of the time.
- Must read, write, and speak English with proficiency.
