Develop, manage and sell to assigned core (direct) customers.
Main Requirements and Responsibilities:- Assist Head of Sales & Marketing (or Director of Distribution Sales if applicable) in other tasks which may be assigned from time to time.
- Develop, manage and implement planned sales programs based upon approved company goals and generate maximum market penetration and sales revenue from assigned customers.
- Build relationships, penetrate and grow business with customers through direct contact and coordination with appropriate sales associates.
- Proactively manage and update the NAV project manager system and Caesar CRM for assigned accounts, including project information, customer information, progress notes, call reports, etc.
- Assist in the negotiation and evaluation as well as risk assessment of customer contracts.
- Provide assistance in the preparation and implementation of annual and multi-year sales/marking plans.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of monthly, annual and multi-year related forecasting, financial reports and budgets.
- Maximize sales revenue through pricing policies, profit margins and program priorities.
- Maintain and monitor sales reporting, customer contacts, project status and sample status.
- Provide assistance for the continued improvement of the corporate web site.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, work instructions, forms and applicable local, state and federal regulations.
- College degree in a business or engineering related field.
- 5+ years in sales and or sales management.
Certifications:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment with minimal supervision (self-motivated) in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem solving and leadership skills. Strong organizational skills.
