Responsibilities
- Identify and define the value proposition for designated FQHC business segments.
- Prospect, negotiate, and close sales for FQHCs, large reference lab deals, and other large‑deal prospects to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly quotas.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements, develop tools, and create Salesforce campaigns that drive growth.
- Lead sales projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery throughout the sales cycle.
- Communicate with sales operations, lab operations, IT, and marketing teams to onboard new business smoothly into the organization.
- Assist in executing the divisional commercial sales strategy, overseeing numerous sales initiatives in managed care and specialty testing.
- Design and drive sales campaigns, measure campaign growth, and create dashboards to communicate performance to senior leadership.
- Provide analysis to identify gaps and uncover high‑return, underpenetrated areas.
- Perform high‑level ad‑hoc analysis and reporting requests as needed.
- Identify engagement opportunities for senior sales and GM leadership, including promotional events, committees, or organizations that broaden community exposure.
- Prospect and identify target opportunities, create and manage a pipeline, and define project scope.
- Communicate plans to senior leadership and collaborate with sales and operations management to align resources for closing new large clients.
- Monitor performance against divisional revenue growth objectives.
- Execute sales campaigns, new product launch penetration strategies, mergers and acquisitions client integration, and other strategic sales projects.
- Leverage market research and trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
- Identify and manage strategic conferences, memberships, affiliations, and co‑marketing opportunities that strengthen community outreach and enhance market influence.
- Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Life Sciences, or Healthcare. - Five or more years of proven sales experience leading healthcare product or services sales strategies in highly matrixed organizations.
- Preferred:
Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience utilizing a CRM to drive sales growth in larger organizations.
- Effective partnering and negotiating skills within cross‑functional teams and senior leadership.
- Proven project management and sales experience delivering significant revenue results from large deals.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in “Big Deal” customer acquisition strategies.
- Ability to manage sales projects end‑to‑end.
- Proficiency with CRM disciplines and Microsoft products, including Copilot.
- Strong change management, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- Professional communication with customers, employees, and market influencers at all levels.
- Self‑motivated and self‑directed individual.
- Field time: 75%.
- Expected overnight travel: 30%.
- Pay range: $110,000 – $155,000 annually + sales incentive plan.
- Eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the variable compensation plan.
- Comprehensive benefits for employees working 20 or more hours per week, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan.
- Employees working less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible for the 401(k) plan.
