Responsibilities
- Serve as a key ambassador and champion of the Altra brand across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
- Build authentic partnerships, inspire retailers, and grow Altra’s presence throughout the region.
- Collaborate with specialty run accounts, Field Service Representatives, and cross‑functional teams to bring product stories to life and create meaningful connections with the communities we serve.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual revenue targets for the run and outdoor specialty channels in the specified territory.
- Maintain current account relationships, secure seasonal and at‑once orders, and develop new accounts within the strategic sales plan.
- Adhere to all strategic distribution guidelines set forth by Altra sales management.
- Order procurement through traditional face‑to‑face and evolved virtual processes, utilizing the latest technologies and assets provided by Altra and VF.
- Manage wholesale product flow to maximize sales revenue while adhering to strict distribution guidelines.
- Build annual education programs, local activation calendars, and seasonal sales plans for each account in partnership with the Field Service Representative.
- Utilize consumer, market share, and POS data insights to sustain and grow retail business while proactively addressing issues and opportunities.
- 3+ years of field sales, product, marketing, or retail experience.
- Proven ability to execute winning sales strategies and drive results.
- Demonstrated results in executing multiple projects and integrated plans on a seasonal basis.
- Quantified results in exceeding targeted results and expectations.
- Excellent process and organizational management skills.
- Excellent presentation skills, both virtual and in person.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications:
Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, One Note, Outlook. - Demonstrated team player.
- Proven ability to build and maintain business‑critical relationships and partnerships.
- Ability to travel 60% of the time.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Fully remote; ideal candidate located near the Michigan–Ohio–Indiana tri‑state area to better service client base.
- Travel up to 60% of the time.
Hiring range: $72,000.00
USD – $90,000.00
USD annually. The position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
