Job Description

• Set and achieve sales goals for both in‑store and digital selling using effective selling tools, including text and social media.
• Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service on their terms.
• Offer honest, confident feedback to customers about style and fit.
• Seek fashion and product knowledge to develop expertise.
• Collaborate with the team to keep the department customer‑ready, which includes filling orders, stocking, re‑merchandising, price markdowns, and light cleaning.
• Grow customer relationships by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
• Adjust workload and location as needed to meet business requirements.

Continuous movement for 6‑8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers. Frequently use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting these items above the head. Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Hourly pay: $14.00 – $14.00. Commission on apparel, shoes and accessories ranges from 3% to 14.5%; beauty and men’s fragrance sales roles receive 3%. Commission depends on merchandise sold.
