Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Consultant role located in Troy, MI. The Sales Consultant will support customers throughout the vehicle purchase process, including greeting guests, conducting needs assessments, presenting vehicle options, and demonstrating features. Daily responsibilities include building relationships, following up with prospective and existing customers, preparing pricing and financing options in coordination with the sales and finance teams, and guiding customers through the purchase and delivery process.

The role also involves maintaining thorough product knowledge, staying current with brand incentives and inventory, and using CRM tools to manage leads and track customer interactions. Sales Consultants are expected to collaborate with service and parts departments to support a seamless customer experience and contribute to overall dealership performance goals.

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Consulting skills, including presenting product options, negotiating, and closing sales.
• Candidates should possess skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service to ensure a positive, professional experience at every stage of the sales process.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to effectively engage with customers, team members, and management.
• Candidates should possess Consulting skills to assess customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle and financing solutions.
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships and manage follow-up using CRM or similar tools.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment with weekend and evening availability as needed.
• Basic understanding of automotive products, features, and financing options; prior automotive or retail sales experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or sales training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record, in accordance with company policy.
