Job Description
Summary:
This Maintenance Technician role requires knowledge in electrical, plumbing, safety controls and machine repair. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in electrical systems as well as machine maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 5+ years of Maintenance experience (or equivalent job experience)
- Independently troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480V / 600V AC & DC
- Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control prints
- Vast understanding of electrical and plumbing
- Operation and minor maintenance of a variety of hand and power tools
- Safety equipment and practices related to the work, including the handling of hazardous materials.
- Perform routine maintenance activities on equipment including lubrication, inspection, and replacement parts
- Assist with MRO and supply items
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Troubleshooting advanced maintenance problems and determining a solution
- Understanding of Hydraulics and fuel systems
- Use of 5S and general area clean-up
Understanding of the manufacturing process, daily operations, material handling, quality criteria, safety issues, and troubleshooting ability. A high school diploma is required as well.
