Job Title: Electrical Installation Supervisor

Classification: Full-Time

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

yThe Electrical Installation Supervisor leads the on-site coordination and execution of electrical installation work of electrical contractors. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to and compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), National Electrical Installation Standards (NEIS), TGW controls standards, and quality requirements

• Coordinate and supervise all electrical installation activities performed by TGW personnel and subcontracted labor
• Work closely with the assigned Controls Project Manager and Onsite Manager to ensure safety, quality, and timely project delivery
• Meet project deadlines, quality targets, and cost goals throughout the electrical installation phase
• Document daily work activities using multiple software platforms and maintain up-to-date installation plans and change order control lists
• Lead quality control activities related to electrical installation and provide training to TGW personnel and subcontractors as required
• Complete all administrative duties associated with electrical installation, including daily reports, timecard reviews, handover documentation, punch lists, and inventory control
• Monitor labor hours, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities to ensure effective cost control
• Enforce compliance with OSHA, TGW, and other applicable safety standards to prevent onsite incidents
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• State-issued electrician license (e.g., Journeyman Electrician License), related technical degree, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of electrical experience involving industrial equipment installation and machine-build wiring
• Up to 90% travel required

• Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings, electrical schematics, submittals, and specifications
• Demonstrated experience building relationships and influencing cross-functional teams, including contractors, internal employees, and customers
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences
• Prior experience with conveyor installation in a material-handling environment preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

• Ability to stand and walk in industrial and warehouse environments for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other electronic devices
• Visual and auditory capabilities necessary to work safely around moving equipment, machinery, parts, and electrical systems
• Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods without fatigue
  
  Ability to climb ladders, bend, and work in confined or awkward spaces
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work in varying job-site temperatures and seasonal weather conditions
• For Installation & E-Installation roles, ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other heavy industrial equipment with appropriate certification and training

• This position requires work at TGW customer sites
• Customers may require background checks before granting site access
• Refusal to participate in a customer-required background check may result in denial of site access and a reduction in available work opportunities
