Job Description

As a Commercial HVAC Install Technician, you will be a key technical resource ensuring our commercial clients' new and replacement systems are installed to operate at peak efficiency. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality installation and professional representation in the field. This role offers significant growth potential through company-sponsored ongoing training to further develop your technical expertise.

Work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Installing, assembling, and replacing a broad spectrum of commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Working proficiently to install:
    • Rooftop Units (RTUs)
    • Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS)
    • Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Systems
    • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
    • Split Systems
    • Chillers
    • Cooling Towers
    • Heat Pumps
    • Duct Work
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, and schematics to execute precise installations.
  • Performing proper rigging, setting of equipment, ductwork connections, and pipe fitting.
  • Collaborating with fellow installation team members and project managers to ensure projects are completed to code and on schedule.
  • Testing and commissioning newly installed equipment to maximize equipment lifespan and prevent costly downtime.
  • Serving as a professional representative, clearly communicating project progress and technical details to clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience:

    Verifiable experience as a Commercial HVAC Install Technician.
  • Certification:
    Current EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is preferred.
  • Technical Acumen:
    Proven expertise in reading blueprints, proper equipment rigging, sheet metal installation, pipe fitting, and foundational electrical, refrigeration, pneumatics, and hydronics systems common in commercial settings.
  • Logistics:
    Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
