Role Description

The Installation Project Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Troy MI. This role oversees exterior home installation projects from start to finish, including roofing and siding jobs, to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include coordinating installation schedules, managing project timelines and resources, communicating with homeowners, and collaborating with installation teams and vendors.

The Installation Project Manager tracks project progress, resolves on‑site issues, ensures safety protocols are followed, and maintains accurate documentation. This role also supports customer service and sales efforts by providing project updates, answering questions, and helping deliver a smooth installation experience.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and customer service skills to liaise effectively with homeowners, installation crews, and internal teams.
  • Demonstrated project management and budgeting skills to plan, coordinate, and control project timelines, resources, and costs.
  • Sales and customer relationship‑building skills to support project scoping, change orders, and upselling appropriate services.
  • Experience in construction, remodeling, or exterior home improvements (roofing, siding, or related fields) is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans, contracts, and installation specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with basic project tracking tools and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools).
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or education in construction management or a related field is a plus.
