Concrete Finisher

Summary

Concrete Finishers at Fessler & Bowman will perform a variety of tasks that assist in the completion of projects. They are valued team members who provide the service our customers expect.

• Operate heavy concrete finishing equipment, earthwork and site utilities.
• Unload and move construction materials, build forms, and work on large concrete pours.
• Waterproof, finish, and repair concrete in new and existing structures.
• Install items into freshly poured concrete.
• Spread, level, and smooth wet concrete.
• Create concrete forms and use machinery to direct wet concrete into them.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1+ year of concrete finishing experience.
• Willingness to learn and follow all safety policies.
• Ability to climb, kneel, bend, crawl, and work on ladders, platforms, and mechanical lifts.
• Good English language comprehension.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Travel may be required. The employee must be willing to travel to surrounding job sites. Fessler & Bowman will compensate with a per diem for travel and overnight stay if applicable.

Work environments include high/low temperatures, proximity to traffic, loud noises, confined spaces, heights, and both indoor/outdoor settings.
