Pipefitter – Paid Training & Hands-On Field

Candidates should possess 5+ years of Build Experience. Ideal candidates will have ability to read mechanical prints, run basic machine shop equipment (Bridgeport, lathes, grinders etc) and to use mics and calipers to check parts. In addition, the ability to use a transit to ensure properly machine alignment. Familiarity with mechanical debug, tolerances and machine functionality a plus.

Candidates should possess 5+ years in building air and water systems using hose, blackpipe, and copper, and run all basic shop equipment (metal saws, grinders, drill press etc.). Ideal candidates will have the ability to read controls drawings for system layouts, hand and bench bend tubing in both Standard and Metric sizes, and possess experience in working on hydraulic and coolant related systems for assembly and metal removal applications.

Candidates should possess 5 years of machine tool wiring experience. Ideal candidates will be capable of interpreting control drawings for the field wiring of all devices, cable tray construction and proper routing of all cords/cables, setting up 24V Cabling and Ethernet Connections. Ideal Electricians would also be capable of Hard Wire Check Out and Cycling Machine during runoff. Ability to Panel Wire and Debug a plus.

Candidates should possess 2 years of Panel Wiring Experience. Ideal candidates will have the ability to read/interpret wiring schematics and wire panels, HMI’s, junction Boxes and terminate accordingly. In addition, strong candidates will be able to layout and assembly subplates prior to wiring start.

Candidates should possess 10+ years of Mechanical Build or Machine Tool Electrical Experience. Candidates must be able to take responsibility for installation of multi-million dollar customer projects. Customer interaction and buyoff of equipment essential to job completion. Ability to handle both union and non union installation crews a necessity.

Candidates should have experience in welding of metals and aluminum using MIG, TIG and Stick Welders. Candidates should own all of their own Personal Protective Equipment. Ideal candidates will have state certification of their welding ability.

Candidates should have strong electrical backgrounds and ability to read controls drawings and panel schematics. Ideal candidates will have experience in runoff of automated assembly equipment using Siemens and Allen Bradley controllers. Ability to travel to various customer installation sites is a must.

Candidates should have previous electrical/mechanical backgrounds in the machine tool industry. Ideal candidates will have experience with Fanuc, ABB, Nachi and Kuka robots, and the ability to travel to various customer installation locations.

Candidates should have experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Candidates should have active forktruck and/or crane licenses, or the ability to pass all certification testing. Any experience using SAP to track material processing a plus.

Our company offers a PAID TRAINING program for apprentices in Machine Building, Pipe fitting, or Electrical fields. Candidates MUST have the ability to work extended overtime, strong math skills (fractions and reading a tape measure), and reliable transportation. Classes will last approximately 4-5 weeks with placement upon successful completion.
