Hourly Rate: $23.00-$26.00/hr
Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable manufacturing operations by installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems. This role helps maximize equipment uptime through preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Success is measured through safety performance, equipment reliability, work quality, and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and document maintenance activities accurately.
- Install, adjust, and test equipment and replacement components.
- Follow safety, environmental, and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Collaborate with production teams to maintain operational efficiency.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Authorization to work in the country of employment without current sponsorship requirements.
Preferred Requirements
- Technical degree, vocational training, or apprenticeship in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical disciplines.
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting and automated production equipment.
- Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related fields.
- Experience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
