About the Role
Duro-Last Roofing, the world’s largest manufacturer of prefabricated roofing systems and a division of Amrize, has an opening for a Maintenance Technician at Tip Top Screw Manufacturing in Oscoda, Michigan. This is a 2nd shift (1:00 PM – 9:30 PM), full‑time, hourly position with excellent benefits.
What you’ll accomplish- Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to complete tasks as assigned.
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery.
- Maintain facility and associated equipment.
- Work with maintenance vendors.
- Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Complete and submit company purchase requisitions.
- Install equipment and electrical components and test to ensure proper functioning.
- Ensure all machinery follows federal, state, and company safety standards.
- 3‑5 years industrial plant maintenance; electrical experience is highly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals and follow step‑by‑step instructions.
- Must have experience with Industrial Controls.
- Mechanically inclined, and able to perform physical labor, lifting & operating machinery.
- Ability to read blueprints and experienced with fabrication.
- Excellent safety and attendance record.
- Must be able to work overtime when required.
- Self‑motivated and be able to multi‑task.
- High attention to detail and be exceptionally organized.
- Must have initiative and be able to work in a team and individually.
