The Carpet Guys is currently looking for an experienced Installation Field Services Technician to support the Company with main duties that include assisting and providing installers with expert advice and solutions. Great opportunity for someone who is an experienced flooring installer that desires to work in a more supervisory capacity working both in the office and field. Assists with solving issues encountered during the installation process.

Making sure our installers maintain the high standard set in place.

• Speak with installers in the morning during load out
• Perform job site inspections of our installers
• Perform job site inspections at customer’s homes as requested
• Review carpet contracts sold the previous day
• Assist sales and office staff with questions
• Performs other duties as necessary

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to be successful in this role but are not necessarily all inclusive.

• 5 – 7 years previous flooring installation experience both in hard and soft flooring. Demonstrated assertiveness, confidence, and excellent customer skills with a high level of professionalism to assure installations go smoothly
• Experience successfully maintaining a positive attitude while working in a team environment
• Ability to maintain self-motivation
• Outstanding organization and administrative accountability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 – $35.00 per hour based on experience

Expected hours: 40 per week
