Looking for a Journeymen-level Maintenance Electrician to support either 2nd or 3rd shift, whichever works best for our next Electrician. The individual should be a self-driven and motivated individual willing to work independently or as a team. This role will focus primarily on supporting manufacturing equipment within our 7 plants in Ada.

Our Maintenance Department is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing the facilities and manufacturing equipment at our Ada complex for our valued customers. The Maintenance team is comprised of more than 100 highly qualified Skilled Trades employees, and the equipment they maintain is involved with a wide range of manufacturing, from nutritional and cosmetics products, to personal care items, to blow molding our own bottles to package our products in.
As an Electrician on the team, your focus will be on preventive maintenance, diagnosing maintenance issues, performing repairs, and participating in installations and adjustments for facilities and manufacturing equipment.
You will have numerous responsibilities – from diagnosing malfunctions to repairing equipment to performing preventive maintenance to finding root-cause solutions to problems. This position will require flexibility for possible Monday through Saturday scheduling, with the department determining which days will comprise the 40-hour work week based upon production and scheduling demands. This role may require scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
Required qualifications:- Journeyman Electrician’s license through the State of Michigan
- Valid Driver’s license
- High School diploma, completion of apprenticeship or 4 years of experience performing maintenance work and troubleshooting on production equipment.
- Knowledge of PLCs and PLC control applications
- Experience with robotics and industrial controls is a plus
- A willingness to maintain and advance skill level through personal effort and training.
- Strong attention to detail/safety and a high level of accuracy.
