Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, intercoms, and alarm systems. This position offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of projects in both commercial and residential environments.
Responsibilities:- Install, program, and service low voltage systems such as:
- Access control and keyless entry
- CCTV/video surveillance
- Alarm systems and sensors
- Intercom and communication systems
- Run and terminate cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coax, etc.)
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs to ensure system functionality
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
- Work independently or as part of a team on installation projects
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service
- Follow company safety policies and industry best practices
- 1–3 years of experience in low voltage or related electrical work ()
- Knowledge of access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, ladders, ceilings, etc.)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus
