AGM Management is a property management company dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions. We are seeking an experienced Senior File Maker Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior File Maker Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom File Maker solutions, while working closely with cross-functional teams to optimize and enhance business workflows. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of the File Maker platform to create robust and efficient solutions that meet the needs of the business.

• Design, develop, and deploy custom File Maker solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Write complex scripts, calculations, and workflows to automate tasks and improve productivity.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for File Maker databases, ensuring optimal performance and resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Integrate File Maker solutions with other systems, APIs, and external databases as needed.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and testing of applications to ensure reliability and accuracy.
• Assist with the training of end-users, providing documentation and user-friendly support.
• Stay updated with the latest File Maker features and best practices to continually improve development processes.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with other developers and IT staff on system design and architecture decisions.

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a File Maker Developer.
• Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and experience with File Maker's scripting, calculation engine, and layouts.
• Experience integrating File Maker with other software applications using APIs, RESTful services, and external databases.
• Solid understanding of database design principles, normalization, and performance optimization.
• Experience with security management, including user access control and data protection.
• Proficient in File Maker Advanced, File Maker Cloud, and knowledge of File Maker’s web and mobile deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about business requirements and technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
