Engineer, Software Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Troy, MI (Remote). Candidates must have strong Playwright and API automation expertise as a key qualification for this role.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and other testing frameworks.
• Conduct API testing to validate performance, reliability, and security of backend services.
• Execute both automated and manual test cases, documenting outcomes and reporting defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely defect resolution.
• Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Contribute to test planning, requirement analysis, and ongoing improvement of testing strategies.

• Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field.
• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in software testing and automation as defined in the job description.
• Candidate must have strong expertise in Playwright automation and API testing frameworks.
• Candidate must have solid understanding of CI/CD tools along with proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script or Python.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
