* Immediate, Open Position Magna is looking for Smart Factory Manager who will lead a team responsible for developing software to support digitizing production lines and implementing streaming machine controls.
** Your Responsibilities
*** Develop and implement modern smart factory solutions that connect legacy manufacturing equipment to scalable digital infrastructure.
* Design, deploy, and maintain Industrial IoT (IIoT) applications operating both on-premises and in cloud environments.
* Build and manage cloud-native infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies, including Terraform.
* Develop and support AWS-based solutions for leveraging services such as AWS IoT, AWS Lambda, AWS Bedrock, and Agent Core for AI-driven manufacturing and operational use cases.
* Design and implement AI-enabled workflows, intelligent agents, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
* Manage software deployments, system updates, patches, and release processes across production and development environments.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, architect, and implement innovative Industry 4.0 solutions.
* Develop KPIs, dashboards, metrics, and monitoring tools to track smart factory and production performance.
* Provide detailed technical specifications for proposed solutions, including required hardware, software, cloud services, external vendors, and internal resources.
* Work with source control and CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Git Hub.
* Actively troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
* Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stand-ups using tools such as Jira.
* Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and project artifacts using Confluence and related documentation platforms.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
* Act with honesty and integrity and make ethical business choices in accordance with Magna’s Compliance Policies and Procedures.
** Who we are looking for
*** Strong experience designing and implementing smart factory, Industrial IoT (IIoT), and cloud-connected manufacturing solutions.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
* Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including cloud architecture, deployment, and operational management.
* Experience developing AI and generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock and Agent Core.
* Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go (Golang), Type Script, Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, and/or C++.
* Experience developing scalable APIs, backend services, and distributed applications.
* Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, containerization, and microservices principles.
* Experience with databases and multiple forms of data storage technologies (SQL, No
