We are seeking a MATLAB Software Engineer to join our team.
This role will involve full software development lifecycle activities using ASPICE methodologies, Model-Based Development (MBD), MATLAB/Simulink modeling, embedded software development, code generation, simulation environment development, unit testing, and software validation for embedded systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in MATLAB, Simulink, ASPICE, embedded software engineering, control systems, signal processing, code generation, and automotive software development, along with a passion for developing high-quality embedded software solutions.

Key Responsibilities- Serve as a MATLAB Software Engineer supporting embedded software development projects using Model-Based Development methodologies.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain algorithms, models, and simulation environments using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Design and implement Model-Based Development (MBD) solutions for embedded control systems and signal processing applications.
- Create reusable MATLAB libraries, scripts, frameworks, and automation tools to improve engineering productivity.
- Support model integration, verification, validation, optimization, and deployment to target microcontroller units.
- Perform software design activities in accordance with ASPICE and V-Cycle development methodologies.
- Generate embedded code using Embedded Coder and Target Link tools.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and update existing software components developed through MBD processes.
- Conduct model reviews and ensure compliance with MAAB modeling guidelines and organizational standards.
- Develop and maintain unit tests to verify software functionality and performance.
- Perform static code analysis and support compliance with MISRA coding guidelines.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, and validation teams to support integrated development efforts.
- Participate in software architecture discussions, technical reviews, and process improvement initiatives.
- Document software requirements, designs, test results, and development activities.
- Support software releases, maintenance activities, and defect resolution processes.
- Work with hardware setups in laboratory environments to validate embedded software functionality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- 8‑10 years of experience in MATLAB and Simulink Model-Based Development.
- Strong experience developing embedded software systems using MBD methodologies.
- Extensive experience with MATLAB and Simulink modeling and simulation environments.
- Strong understanding of MAAB modeling guidelines and best practices.
- Full understanding of ASPICE capability models and V-Cycle software development processes.
- Experience debugging and updating software developed using Model-Based Development techniques.
- Experience with Target Link code generation and Embedded Coder tools.
- Strong understanding of embedded software architecture and development processes.
- Experience reading, analyzing, and troubleshooting C code.
- Experience developing and maintaining software unit tests.
- Knowledge of static code analysis methodologies and MISRA coding standards.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within engineering teams.
- Experience in automotive embedded software development environments.
- Experience with control systems engineering and signal processing applications.
- Experience deploying software across multiple microcontroller platforms.
- Familiarity with hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) or software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) testing environments.
