Vehicle Operator & Data Analytics – Autonomous Driving (Intern/Student Role)

Support Aptiv’s Autonomous Driving programs by operating test vehicles and helping collect high-quality driving data. You’ll work hands‑on with ADAS/AD systems in real‑world driving environments and support data‑driven insights for engineering teams. This is a great opportunity for students interested in autonomous driving, vehicle testing, and data analytics.

• Safely operate ADAS/AD test vehicles on planned and exploratory routes
• Support real‑world data collection using in‑vehicle logging and sensor systems
• Perform basic vehicle readiness checks and follow daily test plans
• Provide clear, structured feedback on system behavior and edge cases
• Support analysis of safety events and system performance
• Assist engineering teams with scenario‑based insights from driving data

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• 2+ years of driving experience (project or test driving experience is a plus)
• Strong situational awareness and communication skills
• Comfortable working in varied traffic and road conditions

• Currently pursuing BS/MS in Engineering, CS, Electrical, Robotics, Mobility, or Data Science
• Basic understanding of ADAS/Autonomous Driving (ACC, AEB, Lane Assist, Sensors)
• Interest in data analytics; basic Python is a plus
