Company Overview

MGM Electric Motors is an international manufacturer of brake motors and electric motors used in industrial applications. With headquarters in Italy and a growing presence in North America, MGM focuses on high-quality electromechanical solutions and long-term partnerships with OEMs and distributors.

Our US team operates in a dynamic and collaborative environment where individuals are encouraged to grow professionally and contribute to the expansion of our presence in the North American market.

Position Summary

MGM Electric Motors USA is growing quickly, and our warehouse in Troy has reached the point where it needs a dedicated, reliable person. Right now, the warehouse work does not yet fill a full 40‑hour week on its own, so this role also covers our order desk for existing customers: processing orders, sending order confirmations, coordinating internal orders, and following up on fulfillment.

As order volume keeps growing, we expect this position to evolve into a full‑time warehouse role.

This is a great fit for someone who takes pride in an organized, efficient warehouse, is comfortable with the administrative side of getting orders out correctly, and wants steady, practical work today with a clear path to more responsibility as the company grows.

This is a entry-level position centered on hands‑on warehouse work and order support. It is not a supervisory, management, or senior sales role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse and Logistics Operations – 50%
    • Maintain a clean, organized and efficient warehouse environment
    • Prepare, receive, pack and ship customer orders
    • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels
    • Support restocking and inventory monitoring activities
    • Ensure incoming and outgoing shipments are processed correctly
  • Operations and Administrative Support – 30%
    • Maintain organized office documentation and records
    • Assist with purchase orders and coordination with suppliers
    • Support inventory and operational planning activities
    • Coordinate with accounting, logistics, sales and technical teams when needed
    • Report activities through company tools (CRM, quoting tools, ERP systems)
  • Customer Order Support – 20%
    • Process orders for existing customers and send order confirmations
    • Coordinate internal orders and follow up on fulfillment
    • Support existing customers with order status and basic account needs
    • Help prepare basic quotations and product information when needed
    • Learn the fundamentals of electric motors, brake motors and related electromechanical systems
    • Coordinate with the technical team when deeper application support is required
Team Collaboration and Company Engagement
  • Participate in internal meetings and training sessions
  • Support company initiatives, trade shows and industry events when required
  • Contribute positively to the company culture and team environment

This role is designed as a long-term growth opportunity within MGM Electric Motors USA
.

As the warehouse workload grows, this position is expected to become a full‑time warehouse role. In the meantime, the associate gains exposure to order processing, customer support, and technical product knowledge, exposure that also opens the door to other paths as the company continues to grow in North America.
