Project Manager
As a Project Manager in our Operations team, you'll:
• Oversee planning, execution, and closeout of construction projects
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance
• Travel to job showings, site visits, and client meetings (about 25%)
This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, highly organized, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced field environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Safety & Compliance
• Champion a strong safety culture on every project
• Identify hazards and collaborate with safety personnel
• Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and documentation
Own Client & Stakeholder Communication
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers
• Provide clear updates, recommendations, and issue resolution
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships
Estimate & Plan Projects
• Attend job showings and site visits
• Interpret drawings and specifications
• Perform quantity take-offs and identify risks/constraints
• Obtain subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Develop preliminary schedules and present estimates to leadership
Manage Full Project Lifecycle
• Interpret and execute plans and specifications
• Build, update, and maintain project schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal resources
• Plan labor, equipment, and material needs and communicate with field crews
• Oversee logistics, deliveries, and site coordination
• Monitor and control project costs, price and track change orders
• Identify cost savings and efficiency opportunities
• Track and report project profitability (budget vs. actuals, production, schedule)
Support Larger Projects
• Assist Senior Project Managers with complex, high-value, or long-duration projects
• Support estimating efforts for major bids, as needed
QualificationsExperience
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in construction
• Oil & gas pipeline experience is a strong plus
• Survey experience with Trimble equipment (Total Station w/ 3D scanning, R12i GNSS, Business Center) is a plus
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus (equivalent experience considered)
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specs, and basic engineering principles
• Comfortable with project management and estimating software
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project and AutoCAD (or similar) preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly

• Highly task-oriented, self-motivated, and driven to learn and grow
• Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure and tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including with non-technical audiences
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Team player with solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with field personnel, clients, and partners
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-through
