OPEN POSITION: PARAPROFESSIONAL LEAD - ELEMENTARY & SECONDARY

START DATE:  SCHOOL YEAR

RATE of PAY: Stipend – $2000 - complete building lead
$1000 - shared building lead duties

TERM: Paraprofessional Building Leads will be on a rotation schedule with a term of 1 to 3 years based on the building's schedule and staffing.

• Support paraprofessionals in the development of knowledge, skill and abilities needed to meet the needs of students.
• Provide training and feedback with instructional and behavioral strategies to support students.
• Provide timely and accurate updates, communication and overall guidance to paraprofessional.
• Attend early out Wednesday professional development and support building paras with learned information.
• Onboard new paraprofessionals.
• Serve as a positive, encouraging role model.
• Support administration with coordinating Paraprofessional substitutes.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Employed with the District for more than 2 years.
• Attended paraprofessional early out Wednesday professional development for at least 1 year.
