$4,000 Sign On Bonus!! $2,000 after 4 months of employment and $2,000 after 1 year of employment!!

Viking Child Care Center at Hudson Valley Community College has immediate full time openings for full time teachers. We are looking for qualified professionals who are enthusiastic about early care and education to come join our team. The ideal candidates must have the minimum qualifications required and perform the duties and responsibilities listed below:

Qualifications:

* CDA (minimum), Associate's Degree (preferred) or Bachelor's Degree (strongly preferred) in Early Childhood Education or a related field

* Experience in an early childhood care setting

Daycare Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide attentive care in a nurturing child care environment

* Provide a classroom environment that is developmentally appropriate and responsive to children's strengths, interests and needs

* Establish and maintain positive, supportive relationships with families, children, child care staff and collaborators

* Complete all daycare teacher required paperwork including weekly lesson plans, weekly parent newsletters, anecdotal records, and other child care paperwork as needed

* Establish and maintain a safe, healthy child care learning environment and be responsible for the care, cleanliness and daily preparation of daycare learning areas

* Perform all reasonable related duties as assigned by the Director, Assistant Director or their designee
