Superintendent - Lead High‑Visibility Commercial Projects

We're looking for a dedicated Site Superintendent to oversee commercial (and select residential) construction projects across the Capital Region. Our work spans heavy commercial, hospitality, entertainment, and manufacturing - giving you the chance to build projects that make a real impact in the community.

What You'll Do

As the onsite leader, you'll steer the day-to-day operations and ensure every element of the project stays on track:

* Coordinate and manage all subcontractors and site activities

* Maintain quality control with proactive issue‑solving

* Create schedules, run project meetings, and keep the project on timeline

* Serve as the on-site problem solver and primary point of contact

* Drive a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance

* Communicate consistently with the office‑based project team

* Complete daily documentation and reporting in Procore

You're the engine that keeps the project moving forward with precision and professionalism.

What You Bring

* 5+ years of construction management or site leadership experience

* Strong background in commercial or industrial construction

* Proven ability to push subcontractors and keep the job on schedule

* Strong communication skills with teams, trades, and clients

* Proficiency in documentation;
Procore experience is a plus

* Trade experience (especially carpentry) is beneficial

* OSHA safety knowledge

Work Environment

* Monday-Friday, typical hours 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM

* Occasional Saturdays based on project needs

* Primarily field-based from a jobsite trailer

* Mostly union projects with some non-union work

* Hands-on leadership expected - tight margins require strong oversight and accountability

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Troy, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

Truck allowance, Medical benefits, Will cover expenses if traveling

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Troy,NY.
