About the Position
Job Description
Locum Psychiatrist needed to cover an Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit in Troy, NY . This full-time locum role offers a supportive team, consistent patient coverage, and a structured environment.
Adult inpatient unit: 30 beds (~15 patients per provider)
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Call: 1:4
EMR: EPIC
Crisis care for children only during weekend calls ➡️
Credentialing: ASAP
Requirements
✅ Requirements
Board Certified Psychiatrist ✅
Active New York medical license
ACLS
Clean background for quick credentialing
Full-time availability
Recent Self-Query NPDB report (within same month)
