Weekend RN Supervisor

Genesis HCC seeks a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead clinical care and nursing teams in our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. In this role, you'll oversee weekend nursing operations, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care for post-acute and long-term residents. Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating assessments and care plans, supporting clinical decision-making, and maintaining regulatory compliance. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team while mentoring nurses and CNAs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise weekend nursing staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care
• Coordinate and oversee resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation
• Serve as on-site clinical resource, mentoring and supporting RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate concerns to providers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control, and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and families to support care goals and discharge planning
• Participate in staffing, scheduling, and delegation of assignments for weekend shifts
• Support orientation and ongoing training of nursing staff to promote clinical excellence
